Sunday Up Market #7: Indian Summer Shopping, September 12-13, ARMA17

This autumn, Sunday Up Market (hereinafter SUM) will be held in ARMA17.

This market, like all other themed markets, will be "Indian summer" styled and will center on last warm days (Indian Summer Shopping).

September 11

DJ set by John Digweed will open Sunday Up Market, as part of OUTLINE festival in ARMA 17 club. A mini market of accessories will be open at the party.

The market will host more than 100 designers both fledging («Oh My Posh!», «the March Hare») among them, and showrooms owners (“Roomchik”, “Kuba”, “Collaboration”) and recognized stores (“Artemiy Lebedev’s Lavka”, “Freak Frak”).

Daily clothing market is open from noon till 8 p.m.

Besides the market, lots of interesting events will be held during the SUM.

September 12

noon – opening

2 p.m. – 6 p.m. – movies

6 p.m. – 8 p.m. – Dasha Kosareva, Julia Vydolob, Anna Frost, reputed bloggers, and many others will take part in a fashion colloquium themed: “What fashion magazines are for”?

9 p.m. – 10 p.m. – a lecture by “Smart English” on English for the fashion industry.

Fashion industry like many other international activities has its slang. “Smart Englis” provides tutorship to promising fashion designers and all people interested in the specific language for the fashion industry.

11 p.m. – at Sunday Up Market RTS.FM will celebrate its first anniversary. A dozen of widely recognized, popular DJs -- Kusasha, Sapunov, Kammerton, Onlee, Helga, Anrilov, Bvoice, Jungle, the Siskin, Duhov, Meshkov, Lega – will heat up the party.

September 13

11 a.m. – 3 p.m. – a brunch by Р*Cafe (Republic). A sweet violin will open the morning party. The menu will include a selection of a buffet lunch or sandwiches, omelets, home-made cheese cakes and cocoa.

3 p.m. – 6 p.m. – look books. This SUM will be holding photo session of look books specifically tailored for fledging fashion designers. Professional stylist will select the sets of some participants, M.A.C designers will make up the models, and photo designers will deliver a quality photo session. The fashion designers will finally have photos to be used in negotiating with buyers.

6 p.m. – 8 p.m. – movies.

8 p.m. – Sunday Up Market closing.

Sunday Up Market stands along with the market for fledging fashion designers, and a space for inspiration, communication and professional development.

Entrance fee: 100 RUB. A symbolic price to keep on making the Sunday Up Market fascinating and appealing.
